The article assesses the mutual changes in the stressed state of reservoirs and the coefficient of anomalous pressure in the development of gas and gas condensate fields and the operation of underground gas storage facilities in Russia. The problems of negative effects of drilling fluids and other liquids on the porosity and permeability properties of rocks of the reservoir bottom zone are considered. Obtaining a stable inflow and the maximum allowable productivity of the well is achieved through its development on increased depressions. Wells that do not reach design conditions are intensified by various methods. It was found that large depressions lead to an increase in the stress state of rocks of the reservoir bottomhole zone and to the reduction of the porosity and permeability properties and productivity of the wells. The dimensionless parameter is proposed to use for estimation of the change of the stress state of rocks of the productive reservoirs during a long-term development and stimulation of wells. This parameter is equal to the ratio of the difference between the ground and reservoir pressures to the current reservoir pressure, or to the difference in reservoir pressure and depression to the bottomhole zone of the reservoir. Hyperbolic dependences of the growth of specific stress state with a decrease in the reservoir pressure coefficient have been identified as a result of the analysis and generalization of the operational experience of a number of fields and underground gas storages in terrigenous and carbonate reservoirs in Russia. Based on the example of the Chayandinskoe (Botuobinsky horizon) and Pelyatkinskoe fields, the limits of variation of the relative depression on the bottomhole zone of the reservoir have been established. It is proposed to limit the depression on the bottomhole zone of the reservoir according to the decrease of the reservoir pressure in the deposit. It is necessary to intensify the inflow, including the drilling of lateral inclined well holes in marginal wells, to ensure the designed hydrocarbon extraction from the deposit.
