STUDY OF LOCAL DISTORTION FORMATION IN A HORIZONTAL WELLBORE

Gilyazov, «BashNIPIneft» The research investigates into the nature of local distortion in a wellbore, recorded for the first time in horizontal wells 1…4 ES-Lemezy at the sections drilled with a non-oriented bottom-hole assembly (BHA). Study data and the results of the deviation survey (with the help of IN1-721) revealed the wave-like profile of locally distorted well-bore sections, with the curvature significantly exceeding the total wellbore deviation. The approach is put forward for defining the parameters of local well-bore distortion as function of technical and geometric characteristics of the BHA in use.
