(EXPERIENCE IN APPLICATION OF IMPORT-SUBSTITUTING TECHNOLOGIES FOR DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF WELL – UNDERGROUND RESERVOIR SYSTEM IN SALTDOME UNDERGROUND GAS STORAGE FACILITIES AND THEIR ECONOMIC OUTCOMES)
The paper describes experience in application of import-substituting technologies for revamp, development, and operation of the well – underground reservoir system engineered by Gazprom transgaz Belarus OJSC and applied during construction and subsequent operation of salt dome Mozyr underground gas storage facility. The paper presents the main advantages of the generated solutions. The key advantages are proven reliability, low cost, complete independence from imports, as well as the ability to use generic-type, high quality products made by Russian and Belarusian manufacturers. The paper notes versatility of the technologies allowing their application for any salt dome underground gas storage facility. At the same time the methodology of engineering solutions can be adjusted to suit the individual features of the facility.
The cost advantage of the application of the developed technologies for 15 wells of the Mozyr underground gas storage facility, equipped in 2007–2017, was assessed. The results obtained confirm the feasibility of its use in further projects.
