(INTERACTIVE AND PRODUCTION PROFESSIONAL RETRAINING IN DRILLING SUPERVISION)
The new, increasingly in-demand profession of drilling supervisor covers several thousand highly qualified drilling engineers, is intensively developing, and requires scientific and methodological support in student teaching, internships, training, and retraining of specialists. Continuous improvements in software, digital libraries, databases, and interfaces turn drilling supervision into digital integrated geosupervision. The basis for these changes are the educational technologies of remote interactive and production training developed in the National University of Oil and Gas “Gubkin University”.
The article presents the university’s 15 years of experience in retraining of drilling supervisors using remote interactive production training, and the results of operation of the remote interactive production training facility for oil and gas well drilling supervisors. This facility combines an oil and gas production company, drilling and oilfield service enterprises, laboratory and training classrooms of the Department of Oil and Gas Wells Drilling, Center of Innovation Competencies of the National University of Oil and Gas “Gubkin University”, and a remote production retraining module on a drilling site. Well-drilling supervising and training support is implemented with the help of this mobile remote production retraining module, using a set of hardware and software tools, and satellite communication. The example of geosupervision shows the creation of new integrated professions (including digital) contributing to the functioning of digital tools for comprehensive group and (or) individual retraining, including remote retraining.
