(OPTIMAL CONCENTRATIONS OF A DRUG REDUCING AGENT TO INCREASE THE THROUGHPUT CAPACITY OF A MAIN OIL PIPELINE)
The article deals with oil pumping with drug reducing agents which increase throughput capacity of a main oil pipeline. As each technological section of such pipeline has several successive spans operating in “pump-to-pump” mode, having different lengths and, in general case, diameters, the question is put, what concentrations of the agent on every individual span should be in order to increase throughput capacity by the set value was achieved at minimum volume of used agent. An analytical solution to this problem is presented and examples of optimum concentrations are given.
