(POSSIBILITIES OF INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF GAS DEHYDRATION EQUIPMENT AT THE ASTRAKHAN GAS PROCESSING PLANT)
The article considers the existing technological scheme for drying natural desulfurized gas at the Astrakhan gas processing plant and options for improving the gas drying process. In particular, dependence of molecular sieves service life on moisture concentration in gas at the inlet to the dehydration unit is analyzed, the necessity of determining optimal isothermal holding-out for increasing the level of molecular sieves regeneration from water vapor is emphasized, results of studies of optimal options of molecular sieves cooling organization are presented. According to the results of the researches the conclusions about possible variants of increasing the degree of gas dehydration and the level of regeneration and correspondingly increasing the service life of molecular sieves at the desulfurized gas washing and drying unit at the Astrakhan gas processing plant are made.
